Background and Challenge
The sports entertainment industry has evolved into a global powerhouse, fueled by digital platforms and the ever-growing demand for immersive experiences. With $40 billion invested annually in sports streaming, the sector is witnessing unprecedented expansion. However, this surge also brings challenges in keeping fans engaged beyond live events.
Despite massive investments, digital sports companies struggle to sustain fan engagement outside of live matches, leading to missed revenue opportunities. The existing platforms fail to provide continuous interaction, personalized content, and community-driven experiences. Recognizing this challenge, an African media operator Group partnered with Tata Elxsi to develop an innovative solution that transforms passive viewership into active, immersive participation.
Scope of work
We developed a mobile-first sports entertainment platform for the client, GameSense which revolutionizes sports engagement with AI-driven personalization, gamification, and community interaction, creating an immersive, interactive, and loyalty-driven fan experience.

Solution
We integrated modules into the solution like Gamification, Short-format content & Gen-AI based content delivery and discovery using our UX framework.
To improve monetisation and overall engagement, we designed a hyper-personalised fan wall with a FanZone Shop. Our approach leveraged cutting-edge technologies to address every touchpoint in a fan's journey.
